The Brütch Mopetta

I first laid my eyes on this iconic microcar in 2014 and it was love at first sight.
The charming and quirky Brütch Mopetta first saw the light of day in the late 50’s as an answer to a frugal post-war Germany.
It was basically a very simple go-cart chassis with a fiber glass body on top. Run by a two stroke three gear 50cc moped motor.
Unfortunately it was never more than a proof of concept. Only 14 were ever made and to my knowledge only a handful have survived to this day.
Since I would never get to own a real one for myself I made a model of it. Maybe some day I will have the resources at my disposal to make reality out of it preferably an electric version so I can skip the nasty cutout on the side.
